HoneyBook requires a US or Canadian bank account to process payments. If you're a freelancer in Vietnam, Indonesia, Nigeria, or most of the world, you can't get past the sign-up screen.
You've probably already tried. You land on HoneyBook's pricing page, click "Start free trial," and get as far as the payment setup step before hitting a wall — it wants a US bank account connected via a US EIN, or a Canadian bank account tied to a Business Number. Neither exists if you're not incorporated in North America.
Some freelancers work around this by setting up a US LLC just to get access to US-only tools. That's a real, valid path for some businesses — but it's also a legal and tax decision with real consequences, not something to do casually just to unlock a proposal tool.
The simpler fix: use a tool that was never built around a US bank account requirement in the first place.
